TUITION

Fees and funding for online distance learning students

Maryland has not raised tuition rates since 2008, demonstrating our commitment to keep tuition low and maximize the value and affordability of all our online degree programs.

At Maryland, tuition is charged at a flat rate each term and covers all coursework completed in that time. The more courses you complete each term, the more affordable your degree becomes.

Each Maryland term is six months long and can begin on the first of any month. Unlike other schools, you are not charged per course or per credit, so if you earn your degree ahead of schedule, you save both time and money

With distance learning degrees at the University of Maryland, we offer flexible payment options where you can either pay as you study, or pay the full amount in one go, depending on your situation. There are three payment options:

  • Full payment before registration.
  • Payment per semester.
  • Tuition fee installments.
